• Cutting, assembling and installing pipes.
• Repairing malfunctions.
• Testing pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Review blueprints to understand requirements.
• Set and modify specifications-Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations.
• Measure and cut pipes according to requirements.
• Weld, assemble, and lubricate pipes.Install and secure pipes (e.g. with clamps).
• Test functionality of hydraulic and other systems.Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks.
• Use and maintain tools (e.g. pneumatic drill, saws).
• Collaborate with other workers (e.g. plumbers, painters) to produce finished constructions.
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment (e.g. goggles).

• Proven experience as a pipe fitter.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals.
• Good numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and/or overtime.
• Valid license.

• Fits, installs, and secures material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue cement and/or staples.
• Examines furniture, frames, upholstery, springs, and webbing to locate defects.
• Attaches fasteners, grommets, buttons, buckles, ornamental trim and other accessories to cover or frame, using hand tools.-
• Removes covering, webbing, padding and/or defective springs from work pieces, using hand tools such as hammers and tack pullers.
• Builds furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces.
• Attaches binding or applies solutions to edges of cut material to prevent raveling.- Hand sews buttons, hooks, or other fasteners onto fabric.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Individuals in this position should have a minimum of 3 years of Carpenter experience and are comfortable using a variety of tools such as foam saws, pneumatic staple guns, and spray applicators.

• A minimum of 3 years experience in upholstery and are comfortable using a variety of tools such as foam saws, pneumatic staple guns and spray applicators. 
• Have a good command of the English Language.
